Part 135 Training

We are proud to be Utah’s only provider of Part 135 training open to the general aviation public.  This training will take you through the very same course that our Part 135 pilots must complete to fly as PIC for our charter company.  The program begins with a minimum of 24 hours of ground training.  We will cover the topics listed below and pull no punches.  You will be responsible for learning all of the general aviation knowledge, aircraft specifications and systems, Part 135 regulations, operations specifications and the general operations manual.  Flight training will include 12 hours of flight time in a Merlin III twin-engine turboprop aircraft.  The Merlin III will provide you with turbine experience in an aircraft with known-icing capabilities, all of which you can log.  In this flight training we will cover the maneuvers required for the Part 135 PIC checkride, as well as complete your high altitude/pressurized aircraft endorsement.  Great emphasis is placed on single-pilot resource management and emergency procedures- all while flying that instrument approach to minimums.

This course can either provide an experienced pilot with a new experience, or a career pilot with an edge over his/her competition.  It certainly would be great to walk into that job interview and have the ability to inspire confidence in your future employer that you will successfully complete their indoctrination training.
